PortalCX, Inc. and its subdomains and affiliated companies (collectively referred to herein as “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) provides Services through Our application (“App”) and/or website (“Site”) (collectively, ”PortalCX Services” or “Services”). This page is used to inform Users (“You”) of PortalCX Services regarding PortalCX, Inc.’s policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of information We obtain from You. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is fully incorporated into the Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Agreement”) found on Our App and Site.
If You choose to use PortalCX Services, then You agree to the collection and use of certain information in relation with this Policy. The personal information that We collect is minimal and is used for providing and improving PortalCX Services. We will not use or share Your information with anyone except as described in this Policy.
The terms used in this Policy have the same meanings as in our Agreement, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
Maintaining and protecting Your privacy is important to Us. To provide You with Our Services, We require a limited amount of personally identifiable information, such as Your name, phone number, an email address, and postal address to create Your Account. Other information We collect that is necessary for Our Services may include the business or company name with whom You have contracted for goods and/or services, the particular goods and/or services for which You have contracted (such as installation of solar panels on Your house), the date You contracted for those goods and/or services, documents related to those goods and/or services, and information associated with the contract(s) for those goods and/or services. For Customer Users, the information that We collect will be used to identify You and link Your Account on the PortalCX App to retrieve the data and real-time information that tracks the status or progress of the goods and/or services for which You have contracted.
We also obtain information from the businesses and companies with whom PortalCX Users have contracted, which includes but is not limited to customer information and information concerning the goods and/or services that are the subject of agreement between Customer and Company Users.
We will not disclose or sell Your information for marketing or advertising purposes. We also will not disclose or sell for marketing or advertising purposes the personal information or customer lists of any business or company providing goods and/or services to PortalCX Users. Our Services are specifically and securely designed so that other PortalCX Users will not have access to or be able to see Your personal information.
We may use Your contact information to contact You in the event We notice a discrepancy with Your Account information, to provide assistance with Our Services, or to collect payment for Services. We may also contact You if We believe Your Account has been accessed without authorization.
We may share Your information with Our subdomains and/or affiliates, who will also use Your information in accordance with this Policy, unless otherwise specifically indicated and agreed to by You. We may also share Your information with other business partners who have a legitimate business need for that information, such as performing under contracts that We have entered into with them.
We may share Your information to government agencies or other authorities in the event that We are compelled, required, and/or permitted by law, including in response to subpoenas and court orders.
Cookies and Log Data
Cookies are files with small amounts of data that are commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to Your browser from the website that You visit and are stored on Your computer’s hard drive. This information is automatically collected through Your browser and may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP") address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
Our Site uses these “cookies" to collect information to improve our Service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to Your computer. If You choose to refuse these cookies, You may not be able to use some portions of our Service. We may from time to time contract with third-party companies or individuals for the following reasons:
- To facilitate our Service;
- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
We want to inform our You that these third parties may have access to certain personal information You provide to Us as part of Your Account and use of the PortalCX Services. The reason is for them to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and/or to facilitate the provision of PortalCX Services to You, and to continually improve Our Services. However, any third party with whom We contract is obligated not to disclose or use Your information for any other purpose other than the provision of Our Services. This includes an obligation to not disclose, market, or sell Your information to any other person or entity.
Security
We utilize a security and privacy program designed to protect Your information from outside threats and unapproved access. Where necessary, We may employ encryption protocols and/or multifactor authentication for Account access to further protect Your information. Although We cannot absolutely guarantee no unauthorized access to Your information will occur, We believe our security measures are more than adequate to safeguard Your information. However, having taken all reasonable measures to protect Your information, in the event of a breach of Our security measures, or the security measures of any of Our subdomains, affiliates, or business partners, that results in exposure of Your information, and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions for using PortalCX Services, We disclaim all liability for any loss of, misuse of, unauthorized access to, or theft of Your information to the maximum extent allowable under the law.

Our Service may contain links to other sites. If You click on a third-party link through the PortalCX Services, You will be redirected to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated or monitored by Us. Therefore, We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy applicable to any third-party website You visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
Our Services do notaddress anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personalidentifiable information from children under the age of 13, nor do We collectinformation from children under the age of 18 as Our Agreement requires thatUsers be of legal age in order to use Our Services. In the event We discoverthat a child under 13 has provided Us with personal information, We immediatelydelete this information and the associated Account from our servers. If You area parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child under 13 years of agehas provided Us with personal information, please contact Us so that We cantake necessary action.
CCPA Privacy Section
PortalCX is committed to safeguarding the privacy and data rights of all its users. This additional provision applies only to California residents and is in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The CCPA grants California consumers certain rights concerning their personal information, including the right to know what information is collected, the right to request disclosure of information We have collected, the right to opt-out of personal data collection, the right to request deletion of their data, the right to not be discriminated against for exercising CCPA rights, and the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information (if applicable).
Please note that personal information under the CCPA does not include:
- Publicly available information from government records
- Personal information covered by certain privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act(FRCA), the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act (GLBA), California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA), and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994.
- Deidentified or aggregated consumer information.
If You are a California resident and wish to exercise any of Your rights under the CCPA as they relate to this privacy policy or Our Services, please contact Customer Service at support@portalcx.com. Your request must provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify You are the person whose personal information has been collected.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We advise You to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Policy, or any amendments, on this page. Any changes are effective immediately upon being posted by Us on this page.
